| Job Description: |
You are responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, identifying trends, and supporting strategic business decisions. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to evaluate financial performance and provide insights for planning, budgeting, and investment decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze current and past financial data to identify trends in financial performance and recommend improvements.
- Develop financial models, forecasts, and budgets in collaboration with various departments.
- Monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing results, and initiating corrective actions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for management.
- Evaluate new projects, investments, and business opportunities from a financial perspective.
- Assist in the preparation of board presentations and investor reports.
- Collaborate with accounting and operations teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Conduct variance analysis and cost-benefit analysis.
- Research and analyze financial markets, industry trends, and economic conditions.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (CFA/ACCA/CA/CMA qualification or part-qualification is a plus).
- 1–3 years of experience in financial analysis, planning, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced functions), PowerPoint, and financial modeling tools.
- Experience with ERP or financial reporting systems (SAP, Oracle, Power BI, etc.) is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Familiarity with industry-specific metrics and KPIs.
