We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Truck Dispatcher to join our dynamic logistics team in Islamabad / Rawalpindi. This role is pivotal in managing freight operations, coordinating with drivers and brokers, and ensuring timely deliveries while negotiating competitive rates. Key Responsibilities

Dispatching Duties:

• Assign loads to drivers based on availability, location, and load type to ensure efficient operations.
• Communicate with drivers throughout the day to monitor progress, provide updates, and resolve issues promptly.
• Track shipments using GPS tracking and dispatch software to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Maintain constant communication with shippers, brokers, and customers to provide real-time updates on delivery status.
• Troubleshoot and resolve driver concerns or route changes in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, Hours of Service (HOS) requirements, and company policies.
• Monitor driver schedules to prevent violations of driving hours and ensure adherence to safety regulations.
• Coordinate emergency repairs or roadside assistance for drivers as needed.
• Optimize routing to improve fuel efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Document all dispatch activities, issues, and driver performance for accurate record-keeping.
• Negotiate competitive rates with brokers and ensure proper paperwork is submitted for each load.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Technical Skills: Proficiency with dispatching software software (e.g., Truckstop, DAT Load Board, or similar) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) for data entry and reporting.

Skills:

• Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills to interact with drivers, customers, and brokers.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and decision-making skills for quick, informed decisions.
