JOB OVERVIEW
SM NOC Transmission Network is responsible for improving Transmission Network health by reducing alarms by routine PM & CM. Providing level 1&2 technical support to Field staff in Transmission Network.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
NOC Transmission Network
- Improving Transmission Network health by reducing alarms by routine PM & CM.
- Providing level 1&2 technical support to Field staff in Transmission Network.
- Centralized Network Outage Management and Fault Management for internal & external customers.
- Centralized Configuration management from NOC for the Transmission Network.
- Centralized DXX Configuration, planning & Level III support from NOC.
- Design and implementation of different correlation rules & NOC Business processes for transmission domains to improve network performance.
- Centralized Transmission Media allocation & Resource planning.
- Network Optimization & resource allocation.
- Carrier, IBR & Corporate Services Provisioning & Support.
- Close follow-up, progress reports, Enhanced support & successful provisioning of all transmission network projects in coordination with Vendor
- Customer's SLA management.
- Planned activity management of Transmission Network
Control activities
- Ensure compliance with budgets, targets, and deadlines through the implementation of cost-efficient controls
Undertake performance management
· Monitor and evaluate reporting employees
DESIREABLE EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION
- 08 years of extensive work experience in telecom industry
- At least 5 years’ experience in a senior management position
- Masters in Telecommunication / Network Design & Engineering from a reputed institute
