Responsibilities
• Serve as a subject matter expert and member of the ServiceNow development team responsible for analysis, design development and implementation of modules and applications on Teradata’s SN platform.
• Gather and evaluate user requirements to build professional and effective user interfaces and interface elements such as menus, tabs, widgets, navigation and search fields.
• Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how an interface will function and what it will look like.
• Configure, develop, implement and maintain multiple ServiceNow modules including, but not limited to: Incident Management, Request Management, Knowledge Management, Service Portal, Service Catalog and Change Management.
• Configure and customize ServiceNow applications, including creating workflows, writing JavaScript and managing user access.
• Continuously analyze requirements and current procedures in order to improve system capabilities.
• Analyze troubleshoot and fix system issues as well as respond to and resolve operational support tickets.
• Proactively maintain technical and functional knowledge applicable to the ServiceNow platform.
• Actively engage in system testing including writing test cases and creating and utilizing automated test scripts.
Qualifications
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow including development, configuration, integration, implementation and release management.
• Deep understanding of system, ITOM and ITSM core configurations in ServiceNow.
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer a plus
• Deep understanding of core ITSM concepts; ITIL-intermediate certification a plus
• Proficient in JavaScript, Java and HTML.
• Experience integrating 3rd-party software and APIs with ServiceNow using REST
• Experience working within an Agile/Scrum/DevOps environment
