The internal connections are sized till 1.5% in continuous operation. The dielectric (metalized polypropylene film with very low losses ) is sized to with-stand the over voltage which occurs because of frequently on/offs. Over sized inductance coils are fitted on each cell to reduce the in-rush current, increasing the life of the capacitor and ultimately the whole system.
